The RGM ÓČKO MUSIC AWARDS slowly but surely become the most prestigious music poll in the Czech Republic. This is also testified by the number of voting viewers that is higher and higher every year.
The strong connection of the ÓČKO Music TV, RGM Entertainment and POŠTOVNÍ SPOŘITELNA, the general partner operating in the field of music on a long-term basis, guarantees further growth of the RGM Óčko Music Awards project that we witnessed this year.

The best artists of the Czech and Slovak music scene performed in the ceremonial evening. Including, but not limited to bands such as TATA BOJS, KRYŠTOF, CHINASKI, PEHA.  Dara Rolins also prepared a special mix for this evening.  The concept of the ceremonial evening was similar to the world music awards ceremonies. In addition, there was an official after-party held in the Duplex Club after the megaconcert to express thanks to all artists, guests and partners.

The ceremony was directed by ADRIAN STOJKOV, who has long-term experience with live transmissions.  The hosts were Jiří Havelka, Ondřej Cihlář, Tomáš Jeřábek and Petr Prokop, who host the distinct program “BARÁŽ” broadcasted by the Óčko Music TV on Monday and Thursday at 6:00 PM. The awards were announced in 15 categories, the stage was shared by 15 artists and bands.

The RGM Óčko Music Awards program is traditionally transmitted live on the Óčko TV, as well as on the Radio WAVE this year.

As a part of the 2006 RGM ÓČKO MUSIC AWARDS, MARKÉTA, a new-coming star in popular music, launched her album, and gave her performance including the first video launching in the after-party held in the Duplex Club.
